Full Circle - An Introduction to Perinatal and Infant Mental

Let Us Launch Your Learning Journey

As specialists in perinatal mental health, we are frequently asked about how to get involved in this line of work. What to focus on? What is helpful to know? What clinical tools are useful? What therapies are recommended?

Where do I start, and what else can I learn?

This stage of life is so important to forming the bedrock of a family's wellbeing. Getting it right, and managing the many demands experienced by new families, is an incredibly rewarding line of work.

This series is designed to help clinicians new to the field. It's your "Starter Pack" - providing all the practical things you need to know to begin that road to becoming a confident and competent perinatal mental health practitioner.

Your host for these workshops is Clinical Psychologist Dr. Rachel Bushing, the Director of POP! Psychology and Three Little Birds Perinatal Psychology, based in Brisbane, Australia. Rach has over 20 years experience working with kids, teens, and families, and has spent the last 5 years developing her skills and knowledge in perinatal mental health.

This interactive workshop series canvasses the basics of:
- INTAKE TOOLS AND SKILLS
- CLINICAL FORMULATION
- ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION
- EVIDENCE BASED TREATMENT APPROACHES

And explores these concepts across the stages of the perinatal experience, from:
- PRE-CONCEPTION
- PREGNANCY
- BIRTH, and
- POSTNATAL

This course runs once per week over eight weeks online. At $360 for the series (and associated clinical resources), it's a great way to gain perinatal specific CPD in your own time in an intimate group setting. Numbers are capped to ensure plenty of opportunity for questions and connection!
