For over 20 years, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges. I have worked clinically in community, hospital, educational, corporate and private settings, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. I have worked across the lifespan supporting my clients from a variety of cultures and places through a wide range of experiences—whether that be the perinatal period, adjusting to parenthood, managing anxiety or depression, coping with different forms of loss, or finding a way through difficult life transitions.
I trained as a psychologist in Australia, and spent two decades working in London, including the NHS (Tavistock Child and family and perinatal teams), corporate sector (large US investment bank), and private practice. Alongside my clinical work, I have been involved with research and publication, group facilitation, and supervision of other psychologists. I continue to stay engaged in research and remain committed to evidence-based practice through regular training and professional development.
I have personally experienced the joys and challenges that come with parenthood and enjoy working with those contemplating parenthood, are a new parent, or juggling the demands of family life. I offer a space where you can bring whatever is on your mind. If I don’t have the skill set to help you, I will endeavour to find you the right support.
Life is busy, and so often we don’t have the space to just stop and breathe. Therapy offers that space—a place where you are seen, heard, and supported. Therapy isn’t about applying a one-size-fits-all approach. My role is to bring together my experience and knowledge and shape it into something that makes sense for you—something that meets you where you are and helps you move forward. Therapy can be short-term, helping you work through a specific challenge, or longer-term if further support is needed. No problem is too big or too small—there is no hierarchy of pain.
I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, so I aim to provide a compassionate and safe space where you have time to pause, reflect, and work through whatever you’re carrying, without fear of judgment.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and informed by developmental, systemic interpersonal neurobiology and attachment theories. I utilise a range of psychological therapies, including but not limited to:
